Measure
Measuring is another way of looking at the world through numbers.
Most of the time when pupils are asked to find who is the biggest, and to try to classify themselves by size, they form teams of two back to back and put their hands to their head to find a difference;
That's what my pupils first did 😉
Then, we worked on classifying sticks and finished our work by measuring our selves using a yardstick.
Time flies, as a child, each year brings a few extra centimeters...
